Bottom Row & Basic Shift Keys

Level: Beginner

Learn V (left index from F), M (right index from J), X (left ring from S), Z (left pinky from A). Introduce Question Mark (?) and practice basic capitalization using Shift keys.

Instructions:

  • For 'V', your left index finger on 'F' reaches down and to the right. Return to 'F'.
  • For 'M', your right index finger on 'J' reaches down and to the left. Return to 'J'.
  • For 'X', your left ring finger on 'S' reaches down and to the right. Return to 'S'.
  • For 'Z', your left pinky finger on 'A' reaches down and to the right. Return to 'A'.
  • The Question Mark '?' is usually Shift + / (slash), typed with right pinky on / and left pinky on Left Shift.
  • To capitalize a letter, hold down the Shift key on the opposite side of the letter you are typing, then press the letter key.
